Horse Drawn Carriage Trips

Explore Yeats' country by horse drawn carriage. Enjoy a trip on our state of the art wagonette carriage. Our carriage can accommodate up to 8 passengers. A gentle equestrian experience that is suitable for absolutely everyone including babies, toddlers or senior citizens .

Handcrafted along traditional lines, it is fitted with all modern safety features and a waterproof hood with panorama windows to keep you dry during sudden Atlantic showers. Coachmen are experienced and will make the trip a memorable event for you.
All tours depart from and arrive at the stables in Grange, Co. Sligo . Car Parking facilities at the Equestrian
Centre.

2h ride (incl. Pub stop): € 150

Family outings, hen / stag parties, birthdays and tailor made group tours can be arranged at your request.

Carriage Driving lessons

Toying with the idea of picking up the reins yourself? Driving is a wonderful sport suitable for all ages. We will give you an introduction to driving.

Instruction involves all aspects of driving: knowledge of horsemanship, harness and vehicle safety.

You will learn to get an independent seat in the vehicle, the use of voice, whip, hands and reins, and develop spatial awareness and clear intent in steering. We will teach you all the important aspects of road safety.
Lessons are one-to-one and must be booked in advance .
Horses and ponies taken for breaking to harness.
